Recently labeled GR by the FFRP – Fédération Française de Randonnée Pédestre, no doubt this little newcomer to the club of great itineraries will quickly become a reference.

An extraordinary chain of exceptional sites: Mont Lozère, the grand canyon of the Gorges du Tarn, Millau and the Millau Viaduct, the Raspes du Tarn, the Ambialet meander… And a multitude of characterful villages such as Sainte-Enimie, Peyre, Brousse-le-Château, ranked among the Most Beautiful Villages in France or La Malène, Peyreleau, Petites Cités de Caractère.

The Grands Causses, with their Gorges du Tarn, Gorges de la Jonte, Gorges de la Dourbie are already among the hiking lands to tread at least once in your life.

  • GR71 C or D – Tour du Larzac, the most famous of the Grands Causses
  • GR6 from Gironde to Hautes-Alpes, via the Gorges du Tarn and de la Jonte
  • GR62 from Roque Rouge (Gard) to Conques, Aveyron, stop on the Pilgrim’s Way to Santiago de Compostela
  • GRP – Tour du Méjean, 111km between Gorges du Tarn and Gorges de la Jonte
