Climbing from Millau to the gorges

A growing practice!

Gorges du Tarn, Gorges de la Jonte or Gorges de la Dourbie: 3 mythical gorges and climbing spots in Aveyron and Lozère whose reputation is well established!

An exceptional environment

For the pleasure of climbing

A reputation that owes nothing to chance. Rock schools, bouldering sites, but above allgreat equipped routes or why not adventure terrain! With its limestone walls so characteristically tactile, everything comes together for raw climbing pleasure!

Climbing for all!

With some 1000 different routes and over 2500 cumulative climbing pitches, there’s something for every taste and almost every climbing style. In terms of cotations, from 3 to 8 sup all levels are generously represented. From the small, confidential waterside site, the school site perfect for family initiation, to the big, committed routes, climbing in the Grands Causses country combines technique, pleasure and aesthetics. Here, the limestone cliffs are often very beautiful, but the scenery is always exceptional!

Choose your climbing site

Each gorge has its own charm, identity and surprises. To help you find your way around, we’ve divided them into sectors. From Millau, the Gorges de la Dourbie are quickly accessible. For the Jonte and theTarn, you pass through the village of Le Rozier. Allow 25 to 45 minutes driving time, depending on the area you choose. The approach walks are relatively short: from a few minutes to 30 to 40 minutes for the furthest ones. Most of the routes face south, so they’re in the sun! We climb here almost all year round…
