on the loose!An unusual journey aboard a draisine (the impossible encounter between two bicycles and a wagon) and/or a tourist train on a railroad full of charm and mystery, in Unesco World Heritage territory. Tunnels and viaducts punctuate the journey along the tree-lined Cernon valley, the contreforts du Larzac on your flank. This timeless journey is sure to delight young and old alike, thanks to the different packages on offer. A meeting with the station manager, who has a strong personality, will tell you more about the adventure of restoring the line.
We did the Orchid tour, after booking online, which was very easy. The safety instructions were given to us with a sense of humor, which made it much less boring, and even the children listened. As we set off downhill in the velorail, we had plenty of time to take photos and enjoy the ride. At the station for the return train, snacks are available (pancakes, cakes, coffee…) at very reasonable prices. Tables are available for picnics. The whole site is very clean and well maintained. A wonderful discovery!
