Your detailed program

In the heart of the Gorges

du Tarn et de la Jonte

Well settled into your gîte, set off for a walk between stone and water, to Peyreleau, a village clinging to Le Rozier, which nestles at the foot of the immense cliffs of the Gorges du Tarn et de la Jonte, home to colonies of griffon vultures. From its rocky promontory you’ll appreciate the unique view of the confluence of the two rivers … The village is then discovered through a maze of winding lanes, lined with beautiful mansions and dominated by the great square Clock Tower.

It’s almost time for dinner! Enjoy an offbeat experience with our “rando aligot”, organized exclusively for you … Our guide will accompany you on a short hike at dusk (short distance, around 2.5 km and 1h15 walking time), you’ll have the pleasure of tasting a collectively cooked aligot in the middle of nature

A moment out of time!

Discovering the Gorges du Tarn

hiking and canoeing

Set off for a ten-kilometer nature hike (low gradient) along the left bank of the Tarn, climbing from Le Rozier to Les Vignes. An emblematic and legendary route in the Gorges du Tarn, the vultures just overhead will accompany you all day long.

Gourmet break at Les Vignes with your packed lunch.

From there, you’ll swap your sneakers for a canoe to reach the base of Saint Pal at your own pace (3 to 5h descent) where you’ll be greeted by Magali and her invigorating elixir!”

What an adventure, an unforgettable day!”

Guided walk

and visit to the Maison des Vautours

A walk like no other! Follow your guide into the heart of the Gorges de la Jonte to meet the great gliders. Observations, explanations and anecdotes will punctuate this moment of exchange. Easy tour. Watch griffon and griffon vultures take to the wing, and learn about their way of life. A must-see stop at La Maison des Vautours, where you can observe the vultures in their natural habitat (observation terrace: unique panorama of the Jonte Gorges).

Gourmet break with a packed lunch.

To complete this unusual discovery of the Tarn and Jonte Gorges, why not try a vertical hike? Or via ferrata on the privileged Liaucous site. Easy or difficult route, the choice is yours.Your guide will accompany you for 3 to 5 hours of activity, very playful with many bridges and a beautiful zip line at the end of the course, enough to finish the stay with full of sensations!
