Festival des Templiers: 15 races in Aveyron

the routes

Around the historic Templiers course, 15 races, 13,000 participants and 4 days of worldwide trail celebration.

A trail that became a legend:

The Grand Trail des Templiers

The Festival des Templiers has become agreat and beautiful unifying festival in the trail ecosphere. The legend was built around a first race that is and will remain unique: the Grand trail des Templiers. The one through which, one autumn day in 1995, it all began. Today, it remains an exceptional route of 80.8 kms and 3530 M of D+ through incredible landscapes criss-crossed by wild and intimate monotraces.
As the years and strides go by, this course has come to be etched in marble (dolomitic limestone we should say!).
The true legend and founding soul of what would later be called trail.

  • Start: October 22, 2023 from 5:15 am

Millau, the trail capital

Since that first race, the Festival has never stopped growing and striving for perfection. With 14 races on the program, 12,000 participants and just as many spectators, this Festival, associated with the Salon du Trail, brings together the entire French and international trail community every autumn in Millau.

  • Trail show: October 19-22

Endurance Trail

106 kms of happiness

The Endurance Trail is the pioneering event of the great French trails. Created in 1999, well before the wave of the ultra trail, it very quickly established itself as a benchmark race.

This is a rustic and wild race, leapfrogging over the causses. Causse Noir, Causse Méjean and Larzac are on the program, each time crossing the Dourbie, Jonte or Tarn gorges.
This is also an opportunity to cross many authentic little caussenard villages: Peyreleau, Le Rozier, Les Douzes, Veyreau, St-André-de-Vézines, La Roque-Ste-Marguerite. 106 Kms of happiness for 4550 m of D+ !

  • Start: Friday, October 20 at 4 am – Don’t forget your headlamps!

KDTrail

Young runners!

The 7 km KD Trail is also an invitation to young people to discover the discipline: 280 m D+ with alternating beautiful running zones and technical sections! A real introduction to trail running.
