Roquefort & Larzac tour

How about an agro-pastoral motorcycle ride?

How about an agropastoral motorcycle ride towards Roquefort, along the winding Larzac roads?

Welcome to shepherd territory!

The ewe is king here. Shepherds and flocks have shaped the landscapes of the Grands Causses.

Direction Roquefort with an essential stopover: discover the cellars of the king of cheeses… and taste! Legend, know-how, quality, local producers… you’ll learn all about the secrets of Roquefort.

After this gourmet break, the winding back roads of Larzac will delight you.
Every stone has a story.

Bruno’s tip – After Tournemire, at the summit, don’t miss the small sign for “Croix de Crépounac”. A 15-minute round trip on foot and a breathtaking panorama of the whole of the south Aveyron region, and much further afield in fine weather. A place of serenity, calm and well-being.

2 variants

for the return journey:

On the Larzac, you’ll “ride” in the footsteps of the Templars and Hospitallers who built their estates here, such as the Tour du Viala-de-Pas-de-Jaux or the Commanderie de Ste-Eulalie de Cernon….

Join Millau

through the Brunas paragliding and hang-gliding runway, then down the Montée Royale, a pretty little road with very little traffic. And why not take a detour to the foot of the Millau Viaduct and the village of Peyre, classified as one of the Most Beautiful Villages in France. The route is a little convoluted, but very pleasant!

Cross the Larzac

to the fortified village of La Couvertoirade, one of France’s Most Beautiful Villages, before plunging through the Gorges de la Dourbie to Millau.

V to all!!
Bruno!!
